Christopher Madden, Director of Litigation
Christopher Madden compassionately and aggressively represents people injured by another’s negligence. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, as well the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida. He is an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association, and a former board member of its Young Lawyers Division.
Chris started fighting for his clients as a Pensacola criminal defense attorney in 2011. Facing tough odds and the highest stakes, he excelled while in the courtroom, obtaining many remarkable jury verdicts for his clients.
In 2014, Chris was hired by Florida’s largest civil defense firm, named one of U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Law Firms.” There, Chris successfully defended national companies, local businesses, and individuals against personal injury claims involving wrongful death, serious/catastrophic injuries, car accidents, premises liability, dram shop, negligent security, and slip/trip and falls. While he gained invaluable experience and learned the strengths, weaknesses, strategies, and tactics of the biggest insurance companies and best defense attorneys, Chris knew his calling was to help people, not corporations.
In 2016, Chris began exclusively helping people injured as a result of another’s negligence. Prior to joining The Bruner Firm, Chris worked for “America’s Largest Personal Injury Law Firm” located in Panama City, Florida.
While Chris has successfully recovered millions of dollars for his injured clients (including $4,000,000.00 for one client globally in 2021) he is most passionate about advocating for them like family, and helping them turn a negative/traumatic experience into a positive outcome.
